Me, Myself, and I

You might remember that I wrote this song a couple of years ago after being bullied.  I was recently approached by Steven Heil to create a music video.  We decided to slow it down and actually have me play my uke.

Suicide awareness is something that caught my attention when I first sang the National Anthem at an annual charity event in Oshkosh Wisconsin.  –Photos of kids were displayed and many grieving parents and supporters attended.  Please share this video with people important to you.   Most especially, if you know someone who is in trouble, please BE their ukulele.

Thank you to all the ukuleles who look out for people in trouble.   Luv, Franki

About Franki Jo

I would say that I'm best known around Wisconsin as “that girl who sings by the Sun Dial in Oshkosh during the Farmer’s Market”. The first words I hear from many people are, "how old are you?" --I'm 17. While I perform at many public and private events around the state, Packers’ fans got to know me when I sang our Anthem at Lambeau Field in 2013. I love the theater and have been acting since I can remember. I have been cast in several films and an award-winning music video (London and Hollywood Independent Film Awards). You can find my activities here or on Facebook and Instagram. It would please me for you to attend one of my community performances--tell ALL your friends! I can never have enough friends, so please register to my website and email me any time!

Wow, what a powerful song! You took an experience of hurt and turned it into a message of healing… transformational! You are a dynamic young lady and a true “ukulele” to so many. I consider myself fortunate to have gotten to know you and you will always remain special to me.

Oh my Ms Smith, you are so kind! I hope people think of this song before they bully others–at school, at work, everywhere. We are so nasty to each other.??

Would you please email me? Our charity has the only helpline for bullying victims in North America. There are only 3 others in the world; one in England, one in New Zealand and one in Australia. I would like to know if you would consider being a spokesperson for our organization. We are in Los Angeles.
